Trekking to Sandaphu to hopefully see a view of Mt.Everest

Mt. Everest is the 3rd mountain from the right at 29,020 feet

I trekked with two Anglo Indian friends from Calcutta starting from Manebhan Jang 6456 feet above sea level over two days of 11 hours walking to reach the top of Sandakphu (11,929 feet above sea level) and we saw Mt. Everest on the second day.

This is the incredible view we saw when we woke up on the second day on top of Sandakphu. Mt. Everest is just to the right of the seamingly tallest mountain in this pic.

As we trekked along the wild Rhododendrons were spectacular on the sides of the walk tracks along with the background of the snow capped Himalayas
